it's been a while

So I know were not suppose to be turned down or even depressed about something simple. Yet this whole "how much the U.S. dollar is worth" is pretty depressing. I mean come one, were at like what 1 to 1.5 with the euro and it keeps going up I remember predictions that that would never be like that and that the euro would be lucky if it caught up with the dollar. I can just imagine the inventor of the EURO sitting on his stool and every time the dollar becomes more of nothingness he laughs, probably has some LED counter clock on his wall. So since the dollar is going down I've decided there are some things that I will promptly do as soon as I'm making money, yay 2 years.
1. BUY LAND, I don't care where it is if some one tells me I can buy an acre on top of a mountain I'm gonna do it, and then completely rename that plot.
2.Move to Puerto Rico I mean the need for engineers has to be grand, and plus you get all of the positives of living in the US, and very few of the negatives (ok so maybe crime but you get that everywhere)
3.Not even look at the stock market, I'm thinking something FDA insured, and once that bank acount reaches it's limit it's getting split

Ok, so I'm just ranting and raving and probably wont be able to do any of this in any timely manner I mean I might as well say this is how it's going to be in like 50 years.

P.s. How in the world do you read like 10 things telling you that the US dollar is worth nothing? I mean really how much literature can there be describing how bad our economy is doing, I guess some one finally decided hey we might be in a recession.

A true guide to manliness

as I set here reading the Warrior's guide to True Manliness I ponder. This is the basic guide to being a true man in this new 2008 year. I read it and there are basically three points, like any good "how to book" our their. So I get to reading and it's basically be in control of your body, follow a path a that makes you happy, and live as if tomorrow is your last day. If it's not just me I would love to know but does this not sound like Jesus in the human flesh being told by what I presume is a non-Christian (don't take my word on this). Yet the idea hold up, be in control of our bodies. This is exactly what guys need to be told and we might loose this stereo type of trying to find loose women who will give us earthly pleasures, and not just that but be healthy, I've noticed that in todays society of over eaters, there's a green movement on health. WE NEED TO BE HEALTHY is what it's saying, and not just that it's easy too. Your parents did it (well for most of there lives) your grandparents every one, so why not us go run a couple of miles a day, set realistic goals for your life and in short obtain them, and when we do this it's amazing we feel healthy and we become healthy with out our consumer needs. I always remember this story a man is asked how will he become the strongest man in town and his father says every day put the newest born calf over your head and do that several times a day. Several months latter the man can lift the almost full grown cow because he followed his fathers instructions and took the time that was needed to grow his muscle.
Then the idea of following a path the path that is needed to be followed by a God fearing man are that of the foot steps of Jesus, and they'll do exactly what the guide tells us to do on our path, be happy and live as if it's your last day there's not much to say here but honestly as you make your walk with Jesus you fill up with him and are ready to go, your out look on life seems so much less bleak that the world tells you, and I know for me this is a daily struggle, with gas and other daily concerns it all seems to add up but with Jesus it makes it better.
finally to live your life as if your dying. Have you ever wondered what you would do if you knew that the next 24 hours would be your last, and God willing your at the top of your game. Would you loose all fear, how bout go up and just proclaim God to anyone you can think of. How much different would our lives be in that regard. How many more could we bring to Christ in that way. It's an amazing thought that if we changed our outlook on life how we would bring more to Christ. That we would fight a battle against satan and laugh when he tries to weaken our defenses because no matter what he says, The armour of God is so fierce so crazy that it's basically every thing you can think of one verse that I believe holds this little bit true is
Jer 46:3-4 (NIV) "Prepare your shields, both large and small, and march out for battle! Harness the horses, mount the steeds! Take your positions with helmets on! Polish your spears, put on your armour!"
WOW! I mean think about it not only put on your armour but POLISH YOUR SPEARS what insane awesome manliness promoting GOD. I can't wait till I get to be up there with him but until then I know what I want to wear.

Now to leave you with that same OMG feeling here is a great video that will basically make you feel sick nasty manliness.

So if you read this post, I want you to go see this with me!! (and don't you hope our armour will be this cool, I'm not gonna lie)

Cars

Everyone who has no car – dreams of buying it, while everyone who owns a car – dreams of selling it and does not do it as can’t go without it.
-unknown

It seems this is so true, I know from experience that it was a dream to buy that perfect car, we have posters laid upon our walls when were children, I remember the first exotic sports car I saw and how I just wanted to touch it and was in marvel at how the cars were all bright yellows and reds. This seems to be our dream as children to own that amazingly fast looking, I don't even think at that point because we don't have a real understanding of what a car is or how we drive it we just want it to look fast, I mean that's the whole reason kids now have power wheels and even if you look back you could get this ride along modeled like the highest end Mercedes or BMW. It's a unrealistic dream for most of us. Yet I remember the first day I had my first car, a gleaming red 4runner, and how much I cherished this piece of metal, but I know with in the first so long of having it, I wanted a newer, faster, flashier car. I guess because of this consumer world that I've been raised in this is "normal" yet I just now want to settle but even when I believe that I'm on the verge of settling I always come back to the same points, and it's basically I have no clue how I can settle for such things, and though this seems contradictory, in the sense that I want to settle with things I have, as soon as my car breaks down I feel this whole point of gloom that I'm fed up with the car I have, and all I want to do at that moment is take it sell it, and find something else, which inevitably will have something wrong with it so while playing with my mind I come to the reason for this post.

My jeep broke down, and I'm frankly tired of it, but I guess because it's paid off it's the cheapest (??) car I can own so I might as well be happy with it and go on with life as if that is where I'm suppose to be. So I guess I'm not content but willing to be complacent.
